Dublin Football Player, Ladies Football All Star 2017, Ladies Football All-Ireland Champion 2017, Advocate for positive mental health

25 years old, Nicole Owens grew up in Malahide Co. Dublin. The St Sylvester’s player was part of the Dublin Team that won the Ladies Football All-Ireland Senior Championship in 2017. In 2018 the Dublin ladies team has won the League for the first time.

Nicole’s long-term sporting career objective is to create a legacy in a Dublin shirt and leave Ladies Gaelic in a better place.

A creative mind, Nicole works with innovation agency Connector as an Experience Designer and has a Bachelors in Sociology and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin.

An advocate for positive mental health, she has spoken openly about her own challenges as she struggled to accept her sexuality and the vital part that sport played in that journey.
